Mental model

Sound do baar distance cover karti hai: pehle pahaad tak jaane mein, aur phir pahaad se wapas aane mein.

Echo ek reflected sound hai. Agar aap aur deewar ke beech ki doori `d` hai, toh sound ko aap tak wapas aane mein total `2d` distance chalna padta hai (`d` jana aur `d` aana). Speed nikalne ke liye hum distance `2d` use karte hain.

Explanation
